10 | Four Seasons Hemet Herald | OCTOBER 2023 | Name: ____________________________________________________________________________________ Address: ___________________________________________________________________________________ Phone: ____________________________________________________________________________________ FREE SUNDAY BRUNCH FOR TWO at the Bistro at Four Seasons Not valid on holidays or special events. Limit ONE ENTRY per residence per month Well, here I sit thinking, today is the 6th of September, and I don't have my fall decorations out! I really enjoy changing my view by decorating with the season or the holiday, but I'm noticing each added year is slowing me down more and more. It's especially noted at Christmas time. ese first few days of the month have been delightful, comfortably warm days with cool nights; wow, what a way to begin the fall season. See how slow I am, I need to jump ahead, this article is for the October issue of the Herald and I'm still talking September. I'm sure many of you will do something fun or maybe dress up for Halloween, but alas, I'm not aware of any special event happening or bookings that need the Ballroom. But the talking witch and other scary reminders of Halloween with be up in full view for all of us residents to enjoy. With the holiday season coming up soon, this might be a good time to remind everyone the proper procedure to expedite the planning of any event for anytime of the year. First, book the room with Tracie Rodgers, get a current menu to peruse, then contact the Bistro Coordinator, Liaison, Patt (951) 537-9307. Set up an appointment to discuss the event and menu. Your liaison will get your selection approved by Francisco and email you a proposal invoice listing all info discussed. When you let her know you agree with it, she then presents it to Francisco and it is officially on his kitchen calendar. Prior to that, your event is considered a "maybe will happen" event. We will work with you and answer all your questions. Francisco is in the kitchen to prepare the food and keep it moving out the door. Please don't expect him to stop what he's doing to answer questions or book your event. He then has to take more of his time to relay all the information to the liaison, as we (the Bistro committee) do all the invoicing for him. is means we'll have to call you and we start all over from scratch. To those of you who don't follow this routine, you won't get a better price. Francisco sets the price on the menu and it will not save you any time because we have to start over. is invoicing also applies to larger (15 or more) catered or to-go food orders. ank you for reading this and please share this info with anyone you know who is planning an event. I hope the Neighbor Celebrating Neighbor 20th birthday was enjoyed by all. It takes strong leaders and lots of volunteers to pull off an event like this. Give some well earned kudos to the Board and Management. Hopefully new friendships were made and newcomers found out about all the fun stuff at Four Seasons. e lucky "Brunch for Two" winner was Epifano Acosta (photo above with his wife Barbara); his ticket was drawn by Orville Ellingworth at the BOD meeting on Aug. 23. Congratulations to the Acosta family. Enjoy! Now, it's time to for me to bring out the fall flowers. I'll save the witches and pumpkins for October. at's me, Patt double "T" Bistro Committee
