We enjoyed handing out mimosas, seeing friends and meeting new ones! Our wine for October is expected to pour from Pelzter Winery in Temecula. October's meeting is urs., Oct. 26 in e Lodge Ballroom at 6 pm. Please bring your $10 and two wine glasses. ere will be a raffle too! You're welcome to bring a snack to share with others at your table. If you join us for the first time, you will sign a waiver (provided at sign in desk) and your annual dues of $25. We will also announce the winner of the "guess how many corks" contest! If you're not there, you'll have to wait for November's Herald to find out. A Fun Fall Wine Fact It's that time of year again — pumpkin flavored items have reappeared on Starbucks menus and your local grocery store. Even if you aren't affectionate towards the seasonal gourde, chances are you will find a dish on your dinner table that includes pumpkin, or someone will request such a dish. Depending how the pumpkin is prepared can make it tricky when it comes to selecting a wine to go along side of it.
