Do you have an interest in learning how to play pickleball? e Pickleball Club would like you to learn foundational skills and join the fun! We encourage all beginners to come down to the courts to learn about the game on Saturday mornings. Summer playtime begins at 7 am. Stay safe on the courts and come prepared. Pickleball Attire • Court shoes (no street shoes allowed) • Proper dress attire- comfortable gym clothes • Eye protection • Pickleball paddle (we provide the balls) • Bring water! Aernoon Pickleball Club Days and Times: Summer play time starts at 6 pm Monday-ursday. 28 | Four Seasons Hemet Herald | OCTOBER 2023 | Some of our bocce players have been asking about bocce for next year's season. Just to give everyone a heads up on the status of the Bocce Club, we will again have sign ups for the bocce leagues in February of 2024. e plan is to once again play during the spring season and hope we have less rain for the new year. Please watch for additional news about the club when we get closer to the new year. ~ Ross Brunetto, Bocce Chairperson, (951) 926-8295 Bocce We have a few people interested in playing horseshoes. ere is a horseshoe league that plays on Wednesday mornings at 8 am at different locations around Hemet. We practice Saturdays at 8 am. Horseshoes Tennis players here at Four Seasons share a special friendship and support that goes beyond the courts. We encourage everyone, from beginners to "It's been a loooong time since I played" to join in. Folks are on the courts most mornings. Drop by and get some good exercise and some socializing in too!! Cornhole Here it is October already can you believe it? We started our league play on Sept. 14 with 24 teams playing. We are all looking forward to a fun filled season. We have started our season with a welcome-back barbecue; let's give our cooks and volunteers a big THANK YOU. We participated in the 20 year celebration. ank you to all who helped showcase Shuffleboard. To Tracie, we send a special thank you to all the hard work you did for us. As always, you can join our Monday/Friday group who play at 8:30 am. No fee, show up when you can — and no commitment. If you would like to play on your own, contact the front desk and they will get you started. Have a great fall season and Happy Halloween! ~ Toni Harris, chair (951) 325-8357 Shuffleboard Tai Chi You are invited to join a wonderful group of folks on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays in the Ballroom, from 9:10 to 10 am for Tai Chi. ere is no experience necessary and chairs available as needed. e Harvard Health Medical School reports, "is gentle exercise can help maintain strength, flexibility and balance, and could be the perfect activity for the rest of your life." ere is no charge for the group, and you can come whenever you are available.
