As I am writing this, some "Disc Golfers" are coming through
hole 13 below my house. Young men are throwing their disc
towards their target, which is a chain basket behind the actual
green. e receiver that runs the golf course was approached
by Duncan Disc Golf to set up the disc golf course. ey paid to
install the target baskets at no cost to the golf course. e golf
course now receives the income from the disc players. Great to
see it is finally in place. It should come up to our expectations
as the months go by.
By now, the HOA elections are over, and the new Board is in
place. As always, there is an HOA "Boot Camp" for anyone who
needs some help getting started.
e hot summer days are gone, palm trees are all trimmed
up, and the Auditorium is back up and running again.
Our security company Nordic has been sold to a larger
company. ey have promised no changes. ey do have a
larger Human Resources Department and can help with any of
those kinds of issues. Overall, it should be good for e Colony.
