| LIFE IN SOLERA | OCTOBER 2023 | 5 Communications & Technology Advisory Committee (CTAC) e Communications & Technology Advisory Committee (CTAC) has made recommendations that have resulted in several valuable improvements to communications in Solera. We are only part of the "formula" in this regard. e CTAC, like most other advisory committees, only come up with the ideas and present them to the Board and basically that's the end of their involvement. If these recommendations are approved by the Board, it is up to the Board and/or General Manager (GM) to make sure those ideas are thoroughly developed and, if appropriate, implemented. Generally, our Keystone Pacific onsite staff do most of the hard work! Following is a recap of what the team has accomplished to enhance communication: 1. e CTAC Charter was developed and approved on Aug. 18, 2021 2. e recommendation to broadcast Open Session Board meetings was approved on Jan. 19, 2022 – Work in Progress 3. A Life in Solera magazine survey was developed, approved and conducted starting on Feb. 16, 2022 - Completed 4. A recommendation to purchase a new TV in the great room was made and approved on March 16, 2022 - Completed 5. Proposed website changes were recommended and approved by the Board on March 16, 2022 - Permission to pursue other vendors was given. 6. A recommendation to purchase and hang acoustic artwork in the Oakmont rooms was made - Not approved on May 9, 2022 7. A recommendation to get Requests for Proposals (RFP) to enhance the video and sound system in the Oakmont Rooms was approved on July 20, 2022 - Work in Progress 8. A recommendation to acquire Constant Contact Services to improve our eBlast system and introduce our texting service was approved on August 17, 2022 - Completed 9. A recommendation to add Digital Signage via Bright Signs was approved on August 17, 2022 – Completed, four TV Monitors have been installed 10. A recommendation to acquire HOA-Sites services was approved on November 16 in order to begin the inhouse development of a new website - Work in progress with a potential delivery date in the Spring of 2024 11. A recommendation was made to our GM to hire or promote someone to provide technical support to the HOA – Completed - David Paredes was promoted and doing a wonderful job. 12. A recommendation was made to develop and administer a "Skills and Experience Worksheet" – Approved and implemented We look forward to working with the Board and Administrative Office in an effort to continue enhancing Solera communications.
