After postponing this dream trip to French Polynesia
(because of Covid) for three years, we finally went this
summer. It was worth the wait. We spent one week on
the luxury small ship Paul Gauguin and another at a
lovely small family resort. Les Tipaniers was exactly
what we were looking for. It reminded us of the many
weekends we spent at a similar resort when we were
living in Haiti. We especially loved how everyone
gathered to watch the sunset each night. The two
weeks were a perfect mix of pure luxury and nostalgic
memories. Moorea was our favorite island, for the
beauty of the island and the people we encountered
