Well, I'm thinking Christmas, as I've been prepping for the all-day November Holiday Card Art Saturday class for months already. Registration forms for the Nov. 11 pre-paid event can be picked up in the Mail Room or at class. I have the showcase display this month so drop by the Clubhouse to see some of my previous class projects. Here are some of the cards we made in previous Holiday Card Art classes. As you know, I always want to present something different and unusual. And, this month is no exception. Our regular three-card class is Fri., Oct. 20 at 1 pm in the Arts & Crafts Room. I'm currently designing my three cards for the upcoming holidays and can't wait for you to see them. If you are looking to get out of the house and have a little fun, this is the class for you. I design and cut out everything you need to put three fabulous cards together. You would be amazed on how easy this class is. Please RSVP to my email notification to be sure I have a complete kit for you. I always have a few extra kits for my three-card class for those of you who are new and are just dropping in for the first time! If this is your first time, please bring a small sharp scissors and some fast-drying glue. If you don't have either, I will have supplies on hand to purchase at cost. I love teaching Card Art and the small $10 fee per class just covers supplies. Happy crafting! ~ Vallarie Clegg CARD ART 101 15th Annual Holiday Card Art 101 Join us Sat., Nov. 11 from 9 to 4 pm in the Oakmont Room for this annual fun event! You'll receive lots of one on one attention as space is limited. Enjoy creating eight holiday cards. You will also love the welcome gifts and prize drawings for every participant. Bring your craft supplies! The cost is $40 pp and includes eight complete holiday card kits (full instructions available in case you can't attend and want to buy a kit; kit-only price is $30), continental breakfast and my Keurig machine, snacks, water, and a healthy catered lunch, soda and ice tea. There will also be a supply store in case you run out of something and a few SURPRISES along the way! Registration forms can be found in the Mail Room. Return the form with your registration payment or send information(name, address, phone) via email with Pay Pal payment to Scrappinvall using the "friends and family" method.
