TOPS (Take Off Pounds Sensibly) TOPS is a nonprofit, noncommercial weight-loss support group founded in 1948 by Esther Manz. This year TOPS is celebrating 75 years helping members lose weight and keep it off. The heart of our TOPS chapter in Sun Lakes is you! We are a group of like-minded people working toward a common goal which is more powerful that what any of us can do alone. We encourage anyone seeking an affordable, informative, ongoing, loss support program to experience the power of TOPS. We invite you to visit our TOPS chapter. We meet at the South Clubhouse on Thursday with weigh-ins from 9 to 9:50 am and meeting from 10 to 11 am. You may visit once free of charge. Membership is only $49 a year for new members plus $3 monthly chapter dues, which includes a "My Day One" (a quick-start guide) and six TOPS magazines a year. You also have a medical library and members-only website. Come and join us! Wilson St. on Sat., Oct. 14 from 9 am to 4 pm including an hour for lunch. TOPS Fall Walk in honor of our TOPS 75th year anniversary will be held on Thurs., Oct. 21.
