EVENINGS ON THE VERANDA Wed., Oct. 4, 5 to 8 pm. This will be our last Evenings on the Veranda for the year. The talented Renee Rojanaro will be out on the Veranda performing at her favorite place. Don't forget to mark your calendar! LAST ICE CREAM SOCIAL OF 2023 Mon., Oct. 2 at 2 pm on the Veranda. The Recreation Department and Recreation Advisory Committee are serving sundaes for only $3 which includes three scoops of ice cream and your choice of a plethora of fixings. COMMUNITY SHREDDING Fri., Oct. 6, 9 am to 12 pm, Main Clubhouse parking lot; $5 per box. Do you have boxes of paper just lying around taking up space? If so, we have a solution for you. I-Shred will be on-site so you can get rid of those confidential papers that you no longer need without having to drive to a place and pay a large fee. No sign-ups are required. Just show up with your boxes. FALL GARAGE SALES Start cleaning out those garages for our Fall Garage Sales. Sales are 8 am to 1 pm. Residents are asked to have any remaining items that did not sell back into their homes after the garage sale. Dates and district participation are as follows: Oct. 7: Districts 14, 15, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22 & 23 Oct. 14: Districts 2, 3, 5, 7, 16 & 17 Oct. 21: Districts 1, 4, 6, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 & 13 WEEKEND ENTERTAINMENT Join your friends and neighbors every weekend from 6:30 to 9:30 pm on the Veranda (weather permitting) for evenings filled with music and dancing. You can bring your cart to the driving range and set up tables and chairs. Awards will be handed out to Best Overall Costume, Most Creative, Most Glamorous, and Scariest. All dogs that participate will receive a treat. Light beverages will also be provided for everyone.
