| Four Seasons Hemet Herald | NOVEMBER 2023 | 15 Happy Thanksgiving to all our Four Seasons neighbors! This season of giving and of being thankful is truly special as we all take the time to pause and reflect. Our community's 20th Anniversary Celebration demonstrated just such a time. Remembering our first days of getting to know one another, and creating our clubs and committees have proven to be positive actions we now enjoy. The fruits of our labor are evidence that building a friendly community over the years involves both labors of love and commitment. We have welcomed new neighbors over the years, and bid adieu to those we didn't want to see go. Weaving this beautiful tapestry of who we are and what makes our community special, helps us to grow together looking forward to the next 20 years! The photos here are more from our extensive trip to Encinitas on Aug. 31. Showcasing San Diego Botanical Gardens and Cal Pacific Orchids makes one want to get lost wandering through such beauty. Our October meeting kicked off the fall season pumpkin style. Meeting in the home of Terry Makeig, we learned how to turn pumpkins into beautiful succulent centerpieces. On Nov. 8 and 9 we are headed to Huntington Library & Gardens, staying overnight in Pasadena. November's meeting will be on Mon., Nov. 13 and our last meeting for the year. This is usually a fun time of visiting with one another over potluck choices, hosted by Sharon Deuber. We will begin at 1 pm. Sharon's address is 585 Parnevik Dr. in the Championships. All Four Seasons residents are welcome to attend meetings and trips. You do not need to be a member, nor do we charge dues. Sharing gardening tips, traveling together, learning from each other, and cultivating forever friendships are the blooms growing in our gardens. Late Bloomers meets every second Monday of the month at 1 pm, usually followed by an excursion planned later in the month.
