Greetings folks! At the time of this writing (Oct. 6) – your Four Seasons Players club is gearing up for our "Home for the Holidays – Community Talent Show" on Oct. 21. Stay tuned in the next Herald issue for a pictorial tribute to all who brought that to life! In this edition, we want to first thank EVERYONE who transformed our Lodge into a full day of celebrating Four Seasons' 20th Anniversary: staff, clubs, committees, and all of our amazing residents! It was a true show of community spirit, and our Players club was proud to be part of that celebration along with Vintage Voices. Speaking of community spirit – our club is all about Community Theater: the actors on-stage, the staff, volunteers and crew who make it possible, and the audience who hopefully enjoys the experience along with us! We are so proud to be part of that. It is especially exciting when we welcome new club members into the fun – and this month we'd like to feature our two new members, Robin Fournier, and Dave Tuvim. We hope you enjoy their BIOs! Robin Fournier has been on stage since the second grade singing a Spanish duet (with another little girl named Deena) however being a cheerleader for many years took away her soprano voice… oh well… it was nice while it lasted! She loves doing live theatre or musicals and has not been on stage since she moved to Southern California in 2010, but that is about to change now that she has moved to Four Seasons in 2021. Robin has worked as a real estate agent in the Greater Houston Texas area since 1989 and then transferred her license to California in 2010. She retired from real estate in 2020 thanks to the craziness of COVID, but she is interested in working part time doing something fun, worthwhile and can help her achieve at least 10,000 steps per day. Robin's biggest fans are her mother Pat and brother Mike who moved to SoCal last year to keep her company. She learned everything she knows about acting and life in general from her adorable dog, Teddybear (yes, you guessed it – that's Teddybear in the picture). Dave Tuvim was born in Brooklyn, NY. At age four, he began taking piano lessons. He was classically trained for nine years in New York. At age 13, his family moved to Los Angeles where he continued taking classical lessons, but was allowed to study more popular music, also. At age 15, he became a member of his first band, a trio that played for weddings and parties in the LA area. He moved to the Bay Area in his early 20s with his young family and earned his living in sales and marketing. But wherever he traveled, he always found a piano to play. His youngest daughter, also a musician, encouraged him to start teaching piano in his forties and he is still teaching today. Dave moved to Four Seasons in 2010 where he met and married his wife, Karen, in 2012. He plays piano as part of a trio of Four Seasons residents and donates his talent to play for events at The Lodge. He often is heard playing the piano in our lobby. This year, 2023, Dave organized the newly formed Four Seasons Piano Club with four other pianists and they performed their first concert for our community. And on top of all that, Four Seasons Players is very proud – and very lucky - to have Dave join our club to showcase his many talents! REMEMBER: We are always looking for new members or even just curious guests to stop in at our meetings. Club meetings are held the third Friday of each month at 1 pm in the Ballroom. Your interest and inquiries are always welcome - please call Victoria at (951) 473-3235. 30 | Four Seasons Hemet Herald | NOVEMBER 2023 | Four Seasons Players
