In addition to our usual meeting, the Ladies Club met twice during the month of September for a day of fun and fellowship. We made a beeline down to Temecula early the afternoon of Sept. 15, for the Temecula ArtFest, hoping to snag a good parking space. The ploy was successful, allowing us plenty of time to eat at Rosa's Café, where we savored, among other food, their scrumptious homemade tortillas. Later, we strolled the streets of Old Town, taking in the painting, pottery, and photographic art exhibits as well as the many crafts that lined the sidewalks. There's nothing more enjoyable than spending time with good friends, great food, and fabulous art. As with many other clubs, we participated in the Four Seasons 20th Anniversary celebration, hosting a table on the plaza. Our booth was manned by a number of willing volunteers. We started the morning with 300 small gift bags full of candy and a small note with information about the club, and ended it with just a handful left. We also had 10 women express interest in joining the club. By the time we turn in the next Herald article, we will have held a "Hallow-Meeting," complete with lunch served by the Bistro. Costumes? Chair dancing? Stay tuned! Our November meeting will be held Mon., Nov. 27, at 1:30 pm. We are currently gathering rags and cleaning supplies for the Ramona Animal Shelter to give to them in November. All women of Four Seasons are welcome. We will hold our Christmas party Dec. 5 at Rockin' K. More to come on that. For more information, call or text Julie Rodriguez (951) 821-1970. Our motto: "Having fun, being positive, staying energized and giving back to the community!" FS Ladies Club
