It seems as if I have been talking about anniversaries for quite a while. We just celebrated our 20th year as a community and earlier this year a beloved landmark (The Ramona Bowl) celebrated 100 years. Well, it is November now and I am celebrating four years at Four Seasons with all of you! Seems like just yesterday I was walking up the pavers to have my first interview. Maricruz says I was the most nervous person she has ever interviewed. I felt I was filling some very big shoes. I had to decide to move forward and just bring myself to the table. I met so many wonderful people and I thank each of you for making a difference in my life. October was another fun month with parades, talent shows and great concerts! There is always so many opportunities for the residents to get involved — you can attend author talks in the Library or the Arts & Crafts Show on Nov. 4. It's a challenge to keep you informed. We use this publication, eblasts, street signs, banners and, if you are at The Lodge, we have handouts and posters. If you are not participating or missing out on events, please send me your address so I can come over each morning to personally give you an update. The coffee should be hot when I arrive. (This last part is untrue but if you have a suggestion please share it with me). The File of Life is coming your way. The Association has approved the expenditure for the Healthy Living Club to send a package to each home containing this helpful tool. At the very least, it is a place to organize your important health information; at best it can assist emergency medical professionals in providing you with accurate health care in a timely manner. Please fill it out and post it where it can be seen. My sincerest gratitude this month and every day for those who have served to keep our country free. Thanksgiving is approaching soon. I met with Francisco and he is excited about his holiday menu. We are all in high hopes that nothing stops Four Seasons from opening its doors for this tasty meal under the Ballroom lights! December is next so keep your calendars open for more parades, concerts, home tours, and FUN! ~ Tracie Rodgers 4 | Four Seasons Hemet Herald | NOVEMBER 2023 | From Your Activities Director
