FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | NOVEMBER 2023 57 November is upon us and members of the Water Volleyball Club have begun our winter season, moving to indoor play at The Summit. We meet every Tuesday and Thursday from 10 am to 12 pm, and on Saturdays from 1 to 3 pm. Several important activities are planned during the month of November. We will hold our annual membership drive this month as well as the renewal of dues for existing members. In addition, this month we will conduct an election to choose officers to represent the club (President, Vice-President, and Secretary). And save the date, Dec. 10, for our annual holiday gala event! We will be enjoying a delicious dinner, music, and dancing in the RCN from 5 to 8:30 pm. Tickets will be available soon. If you are looking for a club where you can have some fun and laughs, come check us out. And bring your guests along. We welcome players of all ages, heights, and skill levels. The indoor game tends to be a bit easier for most people since the ball is softer and the pool shallower. Everyone is welcome to join us! Welcome to the Lawn Chair Volleyball Club at Four Seasons Beaumont. Many of you have joined us "unofficially" in the past when we played at Seneca Park, but now that we're an official club we play on The Lodge lawn area between the pickleball and paddle tennis courts. Our club only has two rules: you can't get out of your chair during play and you MUST have fun. A big thanks to Club President Dave Rohrbacker and his wife Janine for setting up the club and to Tom Conigliaro and Mike MacQueen for stepping up to act as Vice President and Secretary, respectively. All you need to play the sport of lawn chair volleyball is a sturdy lawn chair and a desire to laugh with your friends and neighbors at Four Seasons . We currently play every other Thursday evening from about 5 pm until sunset and many participants bring food and drink to enjoy before the games begin. So if you're looking for a club where you can partake in a bit of friendly competition with very little physical exertion, come check us out. And bring your guests along.
