Occasionally some of our ping pong players venture outside of Four Seasons to play ping pong at a competitive level. One of those occasions
took place on Sept. 27 at the Oldlympics in Hemet. This ping pong tournament against other top players brought out the best in our players
as evidenced by their success in taking home a lot of medals, nine in all.

Welcome to our newest paddle players:
Bob, Greg, and Gloria. On Sept. 30, several
paddle players went to Venice Beach to
watch the 2023 POP Tennis (Paddle Tennis)
US Open National Championships. The
American paddle tennis association
celebrated their 100-year anniversary at this tournament.
Almost 200 total entrants played for two full days. It's always
exciting to watch the competition and all the action at Venice
Beach. Afterward, we enjoyed lunch in Santa Monica.
Recently, we also have connected with Enthusiastic Paddle
Tennis players from The Lakes Country Club in Palm Desert.
We hope to have a play day soon with them. Ready to try Paddle
Tennis? We welcome all new players. We have a fantastic fun

We're heading into fall with, hopefully, the heat behind us.
That means our start time is changing. We will start at 9 am now
with our usual Tuesday and Friday at The Summit. Thank you to
everyone for making our Bocce Group fun and enjoyable.
