FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | NOVEMBER 2023 9 By Cindy Graves November is such a great month of cooler weather and preparing for the upcoming year. Please make a note that on Wednesday, Nov. 8 at 6 pm in the RCN we will be having our Annual Events Lottery for Clubs, Groups, and Classes wanting special events in 2024. Come prepared with a first, second, and third choice date, in case your hoped-for date gets taken by another group. If you are not changing your regular meeting times in 2024, you do not have to come to this meeting; your current meeting days and times will simply roll over into the next year. For residents looking for 2024 private party reservations, we will not be booking private parties until after Nov. 10 to be sure we're all squared away with the Club, Group, and Class dates. On Thursday, Nov. 9 at 3:30 pm in the Ballroom, we will be hosting an HOA Town Hall Meeting to hear about what's going on in Riverside County. Supervisor Yxstian Gutierrez for District 5 of the Riverside County Board of Supervisors will be filling us in on the latest news. Everyone is welcome to come listen. Saturday, Nov. 11 is a full day of recognizing and honoring our wonderful Four Seasons Veterans. From 10 am to 2 pm we will be holding our Veterans Day Car Show. This will be a packed show of some of the most beautiful cars you've ever seen! DJ Dave will be emceeing the day and there will be prizes and food for extra festivity. We need your help to vote on these beauties, so be sure to come check it out. We will also be presenting a "Four Seasons Hometown Heroes" display in The Lodge, where you can see and read about some of your Veteran neighbors. This display will be up for the entire Veterans Day weekend, so you can pick which day is most convenient for you to spend some time. We will complete our Veterans Day with a "Twilight Tribute" at the Veterans Park at 4 pm. This will be a short service to take the opportunity to remember those that served our country. Please join us as we take a moment out of our busy day to come together in unity. There will be a cake reception immediately following the service at The Summit. Again, everyone is encouraged to attend. Be planning ahead for our December Holiday Extravaganza with shows on the evenings of Friday, Dec. 1, Saturday, Dec. 2 and a matinee on Sunday, Dec. 3. Tickets are free, but will be required for your day of choice. Tickets will be available for pick up the last part of November. Stay tuned for more specific details in the Activities Blast and next month's Breeze. I just wanted to give you a heads-up for planning. I hope all of you have a memorable Thanksgiving. I am more thankful for you than you'll ever know; your love, support, and encouragement have meant the world to me and I am forever grateful for this incredibly wonderful Four Seasons family! Activities Corner Have you wished it was easier to hear presentations in our Ballroom? Your Community Planning Committee understood your concern and is responding with a viable solution. Soon you will have the option of installing an app called AudioFetch on your device which will connect you to the Ballroom audio system via your headset. In addition to installing the app, you will also need to be sure that you are connected to the "Ballroom" Wi-Fi. There will be instructions at The Lodge front desk and you may request assistance from the attendants to activate this app for your use. It is highly recommended that your headset has noise reduction capability ~ Johanna Ballard, Community Planning Communications NOW HEAR THIS! THERE'S AN APP FOR THE BALLROOM AUDIO SYSTEM!
