| OHCC LIVING | NOVEMBER 2023 | 29 Hello Papercrafting enthusiasts, and all who admire their work! We've made it to November already after almost a full year of weekly Papercrafting with friends. November is a time for gratitude, and I always start early in the month contemplating what I'm grateful for. Who says you must wait for Thanksgiving Day? So I'm dedicating this article to what I'm grateful for in my Papercrafting life. Maybe some of you may feel the same. I'm grateful for the friends I've made over the four years I've been in the club. I'm grateful for the things I've learned to craft over these four years, knowing that in the years to come, I will continue to learn even more. I'm grateful for my husband who supports my hobby and doesn't mind too much when the things I've ordered litter a few table tops awhile before being put away and organized. I'm grateful for Amazon and USPS. I'm grateful for my craft space, knowing that without it, my craft supplies would be spread all over the house. I'm grateful for YouTube, which, in addition to the teachings of my fellow Papercrafters, allows me to learn so much more about crafting techniques and ways to improve my skills. I'm grateful for the Clubhouse, the staff and our Papercrafting Club Board who make sure we have the space and time and equipment to work and play together. I am grateful for all the people who have seen a card of mine, and praised my work, or been inspired to make one like mine, or purchased one of my cards from me at a craft fair. Lastly, for those people who have received a card from me and liked it so much that they have saved it, many thanks! What more could a Papercrafter hope for but the appreciation and gratitude from others? Happy birthday to our members celebrating birthdays in November! Please enjoy your celebrations, and the year ahead! Sharon Doyle, Lissa Glenn, Vicki Greene, Debbie Machnick, and Ellin Whitson, Please remember our veterans this month on Veterans Day! And enjoy a beautiful Thanksgiving Day, complete with family, friends, turkey and all the fixin's. And make time to create and send a few cards out for those who will cherish them as keepsakes always!
