November is a busy month for our Playhouse performers. We are having auditions for the next three shows this month. We welcome new members to join our productions. AUDITIONS – WILD WEST WOMEN – Nov. 1 & 5: Celebrating the women whose spirit and determination tamed the wild west. Ten wild women and three men create a variety of roles for a diverse cast including: Annie Oakley, Calamity Jane, Susan B Anthony, Biddy Mason, Lola Montez and more. is is a readers theater presentation with rehearsals in January and February and performances at the end of February. HOLIDAY DINNER SKITS - Nov. 5 Santa Flunks Retirement (three men, two women) this 15-minute skit to be performed on Dec.12. e Oily Hanukkah Miracle (three men, four women) 15-minute skit to be performed Dec 20. Both skits are readers theater style and directed by Harriet Briant and omas May. Auditions are Nov. 5 at 12 noon in the North Clubhouse (rehearsals on Sundays at 12 noon). AUDITIONS – THAT'S ENTERTAINMENT 2024 – Nov. 8 e Little Sisters Of Sun Lakes Present Nonsense. e Nuns are having a talent show to help raise money for their dearly departed nuns. e community comes together to support them and lend their talents to this show. Auditions are Nov. 8 from 1 to 3 pm in the Ballroom/Stage Side for singing, speaking, and chorus roles. Performances May 23-26, 2024.
