BON APPETIT CLUB
Bianca Ralston and her assistant Eileen Kosmicki did
a great job demonstrating just how easy it can be putting
together Charcuterie Trays. They first did a tray of delicious
meats, cheeses, fruits, vegetables and crackers. While getting
ready for the second demo, members were each given a small
Charcuterie Cup which contained cheeses, meats, nuts and crackers to munch
on while Bianca and Eileen demonstrated putting together a tray with sweet
items. At the end of the meeting, members were able to enjoy the items on the
completed trays also.
The Nov. 3, 1 pm, meeting will be our Chili Cook-Off. With the help of Cindy
Bice we now have six members bringing crock pots full of their favorite chili
recipe for members to taste. Members will then vote for their favorites.
As of Oct. 8, we have ONE non-current Board member willing to run for a
Board position for the 2024 calendar year. We will need at least TWO more
people to step up or the December 2023 Holiday Luncheon will be the LAST
meeting of Bon Appetit.
The Board is in the process of finalizing the plans for the Holiday Luncheon.
Emails and fliers will be going out in a few weeks with more information and
cost. Members will be able to purchase their ticket at the November meeting.
