| LIFE IN SOLERA | NOVEMBER 2023 | 37
It was wonderful to see all the smiling faces at the
Craft Fair last month. There are so many talented
people and we do believe this was the best one to
date. Great job ladies and gents!
The Sunshine Club is continuing its recycling activities on into
the fall. We accept all plastic water, juice, and tea drink bottles with
caps removed and labels securely attached to the container, as well
as all aluminum cans for which you paid the redemption fee. Each
item must be clearly imprinted with the words CA-CRV or CA CASH
REFUND.
Please be aware that plastic containers such as milk, 100 percent
juices, Clorox, peanuts, coffee, and mouthwash as well as metal cans
other than aluminum for which you do not pay
the CRV fee, are not recyclable and should be
placed in your appropriate waste can.
Thank you so much for your continued efforts with recycling,
enabling the Sunshine Club to help others in many ways.
It is a very busy time of year but also a time for giving and to be
grateful. What better place to give of yourself and show gratitude than
with the Sunshine Club. We meet at 1 pm on the third Wednesday of
the month in the Arts and Crafts Room. We would love for you to join
us. If you have any questions, please contact Diane Coffman at (949)
295-1097 or Kathy Marchi at (714) 600-6394.
SUNSHINE CLUB
Sunshine Helpers Needed!
Chronic illnesses, hospitalization, and/or death can hit people hard. If you have a friend or neighbor
here in Solera who needs a spark of sunshine, let members of the Sunshine Club know. For your
convenience, the yellow Sunshine Box is located on the table in the Mail Room where you can drop
off the information for a resident or residents who are sick or have experienced a death in the family.
Sometimes just a card or telephone call will brighten someone's day immensely.
