QUILTERS
KNIT & CROCHET CLUB
Every year the Solera Quilters participate in a challenge project.
Each year is different and we have one full year to complete it. It can
be any size from potholder to large quilt. This year our challenge was
to make something that represented our birthstone, and our birth
month flower, with one additional color of our choice. We gathered
in the Oakmont rooms and showed off our wares after a yummy
lunch. There were all colors and sizes of quilted goods and all were
beautiful! What a talented bunch of quilters! Come join us for the
fun every Monday at noon in the Arts & Crafts Room.
Check out Becky's finished fall sweater in the photo at
right. We all loved it and looks so nice on her. Our K & C
members all currently have items in the works for babies,
Christmas projects, afghans, shawls. But for all that we are
working on as individuals, the best part is our two hours
together each week sharing, caring, and laughing. New
people with creative leanings are always welcome.
