e OLDlympics "competition for active seniors" is held in September and October each year. All seniors, valley-wide and over the
age of 50, are encouraged to participate. Pictured above is a group of Solera residents who attended the awards banquet.
Let's give a round of applause for those from Solera Diamond Valley who took on the challenge. It was Frank Ross who brought home
the most medals this year with a total of 13. Frank received six gold medals for swimming, one gold for bench press, and in track and
field, took home four gold, one silver, and one bronze. Bill Coles won seven gold medals for various swimming events. Congratulations
to all who gave it their best and who might have also brought home medals and bragging rights.
