FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | DECEMBER 2023 13 At Your Service Spotlight on e Salon's Rhonda Radzik and Susie Labbee our Seasons women discovered The Salon 14 years ago and are excited about the newly redone boutique. But did you know that many men go to the Salon for hair, beard, body, and face treatments? Rhonda Radzik has had The Salon contract for 14 years, and for the last eight years has been joined by her sister Susie Labbee as her partner. Each of them began their cosmetology careers in high school, and through continuing education they stay current with the latest advances in their field. Plus they're both Four Seasons residents. "Susie is the artistic one," said Rhonda. Susie has redone the boutique with wall graphics, reasonably-priced tops for everyday wear, and unique styles for the holidays. Sweaters, earrings, and sales merchandise make the boutique appealing as patrons enter The Salon. Haircuts, color, styling, waxing, and mani/pedis are typical procedures that clients ask for, but a long list of services, with prices, can be found on the website. A variety of facials are the specialty of esthetician Diana Hurt. "I ask my clients what they think they need," she said. Of course, people are different. Some wives have sent their husbands in for a "clean out," Diana said. During some treatments some guests are so relaxed that they fall asleep and don't want to leave. Her treatment room is equipped with aroma therapy, soft lighting, and music. Nearby is the tranquil massage room. The main salon is clean and well-lit sporting new chairs for the clients. "We hope in the future to get new flooring and do demos," said Rhonda. She anticipates retirement in five years or so, but for now Rhonda loves working at Four Seasons where she can set her hours to fit her clients. "I feel that I am benefitting others. I like catering to their needs," she said. The Salon often gives support to local charities like Carol's Kitchen who recently received several gift certificates from The Salon. "We sometimes have residents bring guests in to The Salon," said Susie, "even grandkids. It's like a family here where we treat everyone like family." Massage Therapists Dylan James and Leora Mares, Manicurist Lisa Gustafson, other stylists Kelly Mulligan, Ruben Riaza, and Kim Sirick are all ready to serve you at The Salon. ~ Tina Soeten and Andi Henderson Susie Labbee Rhonda Radzik with her husband F
