32 FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | DECEMBER 2023 Finance Committee Air Space Ad Hoc Committee As the year comes to a close, I would like to publicly thank the members of the Finance Committee for their service to this community. Each member of the Finance Committee works very hard to keep our community in the top tier of well-run beautiful communities by sharing their time and knowledge. During the Finance Committee's regular monthly meeting, the financial statements for September 2023 were reviewed and recommended for Board approval. In addition, the Committee reviewed expenditure proposals, and reviewed investment recommendations to move maturing investments to higher yield FDIC insured instruments. Highlights of the September financial statements are: Total Cash is $12,389,740 including operating cash of $2,148,677 (checking and CDs) and reserve assets of $10,241,063. Our total year-to-date net income is $72,679. Homeowners are welcome to join us at the Finance Committee's regularly scheduled monthly meetings that are held on the last Tuesday of each month but are dark for December. The Finance Committee reviews and discusses many issues that you may have questions about, and we welcome those questions. I would encourage all residents to become more familiar with the finances of our community. We would love to hear about your concerns and encourage you to share them with us. Attending a meeting only takes a little time and will give you a better understanding of how we operate. Come and join us in making this a thriving vibrant community. Our meetings are held in the RCN Conference Room. If you have any questions or concerns, contact me at joleneaudit@ gmail.com. ~ Jolene Cooley As more and more members of our community purchase jet packs and flying cars, we are exploring ways to keep our Four Seasons air space safe for all residents. For jet packs: The hours in which jet packs are allowed to be in operation are between 8 am and 8 pm. Residents employing the use of jet packs may not hover over any backyard that is not their own or without expression permission of the homeowner. For flying cars: You must fly over all streets as if you're a terrestrial car — no flying over homes within the community. Also speed limits still apply! Please ready the general manager's article for specifics. And remember the correct way to navigate roundabouts — clockwise applies to flying cars too. Do not throw garbage out of your windows while driving, whether it's in a flying car or not. If you have any questions, contact me at (909) 213-1428. ~ George Jetson
