Our October's championship match was
quite interesting and ended in a three-way
tie between Reggie Fuqua, LeRoy Wright,
and me, Roxanne Williams. During October,
several players scored enough games to
qualify for the final match. However, just
four players competed in the final match.
The play was intense and continued back
and forth. We decided to end the match
acknowledging three winners (at right) for
the month.
I must say that to be included in this
coveted circle of players was truly gratifying.
I held my own against three other elite
players and former champions. I do want to
give a special "shout out" to Jesse Dimmer.
For me personally, Oct. 27 will definitely be a
night to remember.
Congratulations to Reggie, LeRoy, and
Roxanne — the champions for October!
The Dominoes Club plays every Wednesday
and Friday from 6 until 9 pm in the Game
Room. We encourage more players, whether
new to the game or experienced, to come out
and join us for an enjoyable time "slamming
bones." Novice players are encouraged to
come out from 5 to 6 pm on Wednesdays and
Fridays to learn the game.

Phase 10
We hope to see more fun-loving card players join us in The Lodge
Game Room on Tuesdays, Dec. 12 and 26 from 2 to 4 pm.
There have been the usual 'faithfuls' but we would love to see more
join us to play this fun game. Snacks are provided.
The goal is to complete the 10 phases that are established for the
game one round at a time. These phases include 'sets' of cards (all the
same number) and 'runs' (cards in a sequence). There are also Wild
cards and Skip cards during play.
Thank you for your support. At this writing I am still undergoing
rehab for my back fracture but Lynette Smilac has graciously stepped
