Taka Ritchie taught Chinese brush painting that is dramatic and requires a lot of practice. We painted bamboo and flowers and as you can guess, Taka had a room full of students wanting to learn this ancient technique. At this time of year, many of our painters were interested in painting holiday cards. Some used their newly learned Chinese brush painting technique, while others painted traditional holiday cards using many patterns offered by Taka. It was a wonderful and fun way to end the year. Taka and I wish all of you happy and glorious holidays and a very happy new year! We will see you in January 2024.
