6 | Four Seasons Hemet Herald | DECEMBER 2023 | is is the sixth article in this series and will examine e Application Process – "It's as easy as A, B, C, D!" e Application Process: Required Forms: EXHIBIT A - Home Alteration Application: All application submittal packages must include this signed and completed form. EXHIBIT B - Neighbor Advisory: It is the intent of the ARC that the homeowners neighbors be notified of any alterations which may impact the use and enjoyment of their property. is form is to let your neighbors know what alterations you are proposing to be approved by the ARC and is advisory and shall not be binding in any way on the ARC's decision. Impacted neighbors have the right to contact the ARC to express concerns they have. e homeowner shall show and discuss their proposed alterations to their neighbors and request their signature on the Neighbor Advisory (Exhibit B). Should any neighbor decline to sign the statement, or if the adjacent, facing or impacted home is vacant, such circumstances must be noted on the form. EXHIBIT C - Notice of Completion: Once a homeowner receives written approval of an alteration from the ARC, construction may commence. Upon completion of the project, a Notice of Completion ("Exhibit C") must be forwarded to the Architectural Support Staff at e Lodge: 237 Four Seasons Boulevard, Hemet, California 92545. If additional time is required to complete improvements, a written request for an extension is required to be submitted to the architectural support staff at e Lodge. EXHIBIT D - Revision of Form to "Exhibit A": If a homeowner desires to modify any portion of work previously approved by the ARC, then the homeowner must submit "Exhibit D" (Revision to "Exhibit A") along with any new plans showing whatever changes are desired. e ARC will then consider the desired modifications. Any new approval must be in writing prior to the commencement of any work. All other applicable requirements for the ARC approval of the alteration process shall remain in effect. Future articles will continue to address the Application Process. Do not take photographs of other homes, approved under previous guidance, to support a current application inconsistent with the approved Architectural Standards and Regulations. e ARC will NOT consider such photographs. Additionally, upon discovery of any unapproved alterations, architectural staff will provide notice that a remedial ARC application (including potential removal or correction of any unapproved alterations). is may occur during the time you may wish to sell your property. In this circumstance, the Association may issue a Notice of Violation on your property that any unapproved alterations may need to be corrected prior close of escrow on your property. When you're busy with your holiday shopping or making out your own gi wish list, remember that books make terrific presents… and can be donated to the library when they have been read and enjoyed. Hardcover books copyright dated 2014 and above are the ones to donate because of the limited space on the library shelves. Paperbacks are welcomed too — 2020 to the present. Remember that we accept current hardcover nonfiction, biographies, large type books, health, and religion books, too. If you need to make space on your own shelves at home, well-loved classics of any date can find a home in our collection. Check out what the library currently has behind the labeled doors beneath the paperbacks. e shelves pull out for your convenience. e Library Committee members are already planning our 2024 resident authors' talks. Learning about broad-based general topics and how our resident authors developed their love for writing are the most appreciated by our Four Seasons residents. Turning to another feature in the library, our Suggestion Box has been empty for a while. When inspiration strikes about some aspect of the library, please share your thoughts. Keep in mind that all library books, puzzles, and magazines, are donations from you, the residents. It's your generosity that keeps us in business! Appropriate for the end of another year is acknowledging and sincerely thanking the members of your volunteer library committee. ese individuals work together to keep the library looking great; it's no small task!
