FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | JANUARY 2024 43 We hope you all had a wonderful holiday. Four Seasons residents offer a huge congratulations to the cast and crew of the holiday show A Dickens of a Christmas Carol and the Four Seasons Singers. What a wonderful evening. 2024 promises to bring much more. Coming next spring is the Musical/Comedy Show e Four Seasons of Menopause. It is a show that will include singing, along with skits for men as well as women. The acts will have several lines to memorize as well as a song and movement/dance around the stage. Most skits will include four actors. There will also be parts for non-singers as well as jobs for stage hands, sound and lighting. Auditions are Sunday, Jan. 7 at 2 pm in the Ballroom. It would be preferred that you audition with anyone you would want to be in an act with. For example, come with your friends to make sure you sign up together. Whether you are a 'pro' or new to the stage, please give it a try. All are welcome. Contact Barbara Wasco for information at (951) 797- 3466 or bawasco@dc.rr.com Our next general meeting is Monday, Jan. 8 at 6 pm in The Lodge Game Room. There will be general elections with the members who are attending voting. All positions are open for 2024: President, Treasurer, and Secretary. If you have an interest, please contact Pat Wayne. Come to a meeting and see what we are about. We continue to grow as a club, and a source of free entertainment to our community with various shows throughout the year. ~ Marianne Bugni The Amphitheater team has a special surprise for our community. The concerts down at the Amphitheater are held from May through September. For our 2024 season, we decided to have a special event in the Ballroom on Thursday, Feb. 1 at 6 pm to kick off the season early. Our special guest will be rock music expert, author and lecturer Mr. Leo Rossi presenting his Knights of Rock multimedia presentation about his life as a road manager for bands like Fleetwood Mac, Beach Boys, Billy Idol, Bette Midler, Stevie Nicks, Diana Ross, and others. Leo will present video, pictures and talk about what life is like moving from arena to arena all over the world. Leo was responsible for managing and making sure that the multitude of people, equipment, stage set-up and musicians all got to the right place ready to get on stage and rock! His presentation covers his life living the "rock and roll" dream beginning in his teenage years as a roadie and moving on up to the road manager. It is a fascinating look at backstage in rock music and a very personal look at some of the biggest stars of the classic rock area. Leo is the author of the book When the Devil Smiles the Angels Frown which is a wonderful book; if you love rock music you will enjoy it. Books will be available for purchase and Leo will be happy to autograph them for you. Leo travels all over presenting his show. Come on down to The Lodge Ballroom on Thursday, Feb. 1 at 6 pm for a fun evening with your friends and neighbors. There is no charge or tickets needed, just come on down and "rock." ~ Mark Lassen Performing Arts Club Amphitheater Four Seasons Singers We were so happy to be able to perform for you again at the Holiday Show.
