FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | JANUARY 2024 59 In the above picture, Anita Schulz tosses up the ball to serve it to Jeannine Baker. If things go well for Jeannine, she will be able to return the serve to Sandi Roberts, Anita's partner. If things go well for Sandi, she will be able to return the ball to Julia Dobos, Jeannine's partner. If things go well for Julia, she will be able to return the ball back to Anita and Anita will try to hit it to Jeannine. This process will go on until a player on one side or the other fails to return the ball. If they fail to return the ball, the players on the other side of the table get a point. This goes on until one team has 11 points. If you have played doubles in ping pong before, this makes sense to you. If you haven't played before, you are probably totally confused. To get unconfused, YOU need to come play ping pong with us. We play at The Courts, Mondays through Saturdays at 2 pm. Need more info? I hope everyone out there had a wonderful Christmas and a very happy New Year. I would like to say I did a bunch of fishing in December. That is what I would like to say, however I did more hunting in Arizona, vacationing with the wife and trap shooting in Redlands. This article is always telling about what happened last month. We have to have the article in by the sixth of each month so I have no idea what is going to happen the last three weeks of the month. From now on I will write about what happened last month. We will always be a little behind on the latest news, but when you're retired, who cares. When you read this article I have no idea what I did the last three weeks of December. I will tell you in the February edition of the Breeze if we did any fishing or not. I did plan fishing trips in December, so hopefully I will be able to write about those trips. Maybe we should start a hunting club and trap club so I will be able to write longer and better articles. Just a thought. Tight lines to all my fishing friends and remember every day is a great day to go fishing. ~ Richard Carrasco, ricarrasco52@gmail.com
