Veterans Day Ball 2024 We are preparing now to honor all veterans, past and present for the 2024 Veterans Day Ball. If you are interested in joining the Veterans Ball Committee, please contact Linda Santana, 661-492-1799 or lindajsantana@ yahoo.com. Dinner w/Friends New Year's Pizza Party Wednesday, Jan. 24, 5 pm. We want to celebrate the New Year just one more time with all our friends at the Clubhouse! We will have supreme, vegetarian, pepperoni and gluten free pizza, salad, so drinks and dessert. Tickets must be purchased by Jan. 23. $10 per person. Document Shredding Saturday, Feb. 10, 9 am to 12 pm, Parking Lot. Are you concerned about identity the? You should be! Here's your chance to shred and get rid of all those personal documents you no longer need. An industrial- size shredder will be available in the Clubhouse parking lot and certainly is the easiest way to get rid of all that paper. ere is no need to remove staples, but please do remove any large binder clips and all paper clips. Mardi Gras Party Saturday, Feb. 10, 6 pm. Who will be crowned king and queen of Mardi Gras? Come join the fun and find out! e Persuasions, a Louisiana style jazz band, will be blowing their horns all night for your dancing and listening pleasure. Costumes and masks are encouraged, but not necessary. A tapas buffet and non-alcoholic Southern Mint Juleps will be available. Tickets are $25 per person. Super Bowl Party Sunday, Feb. 11, TBD. Put on your team jersey and join us for the greatest sporting event of the year! Pizza, salad and so drinks included. Tickets are $10 per person. Three Legends of the 60s, 70s, & 80s Sunday, Feb. 18, doors open at 6:30 pm. Experience the music of three legendary singers of the 60s, 70s and 80s performed by amazingly talented tribute artists. Cabaret style seating will be available and showtime is from 7 to 8:30 pm. BYOB and snacks. Tickets are $17 per person. Bus Trip: San Diego Safari Park Wednesday, Feb. 21. Lions and tigers and bears — oh,my! e San Diego Safari Park has declared February senior (65+) month. Enjoy the sights on an Africa Tram, see the platypuses and other Aussie species at Walkabout. e trip includes transportation, snacks on the bus and driver gratuities. e bus leaves e Colony parking lot at 7:30 am and returns at approximately 3:30 pm. Tickets are $35 per person. Murrieta Mesa High School Theatre It's Senior Citizen Days at Murrieta Mesa High School with tickets $2 for anyone 55 and older.
