It was a drab and drizzly
morning but that didn't
affect the attendance at our
November Pancake Breakfast.
We had well over 300 join us
for an enjoyable breakfast of
pancakes and sausage and
take the opportunity to visit with friends and neighbors. A big
thank you to all who supported our breakfast and made it such
a successful event. Also, a big thanks to all the volunteers, and
especially the local high school students who helped both in
serving and clean up.
Each year we use the income from the June and November
Breakfasts to assist in providing funding for our scholarship
program for Murrieta High School athletes. As well as being
accomplished athletes, as selected by their high school coaches,
those chosen must meet specific educational standards and be
college bound. Scholarship payments are made directly to the
colleges of choice.
