As we say goodbye to the year 2023, let's take a moment to appreciate our Racquet Club friends and activities. e courts are my favorite place to be, a great start to any day. Old and new friends congregate there, enjoying sunshine (usually), friendly banter (mostly), chaos (definitely), but most importantly, fun and friendship (always). Every day is a special day at the courts! Outside of our games, we are also fortunate enough to have great dinners, ladies' monthly potlucks, and just-for-fun tournaments. ere is always a place for everyone in the Racquet Club. If you are not a part of it, please give us a call and we will get you involved: Karen Nichols for paddle tennis at 619-550-8194 or John Knitter for tennis at 951-805-2456. Racquet Club By Karen Nichols, 619-550-8194 is month's message will inform you of two significant changes: 1) We will no longer be publishing monthly news articles, and 2) we are discontinuing hosting monthly pickleball tournaments. Instead, we are transitioning to a quarterly schedule for both news articles and tournaments. Our tournaments will be on Saturdays. e dates for 2024 are March 2, June 8, Sept. 7 and Dec. 7.
