| OHCC LIVING | JANUARY 2024 | 9 Community Patrol Services (CPS) strives to uphold a culture of transparency in our operations within this cherished community. We aim to provide you with monthly comprehensive updates pertaining to safety protocols, upcoming events, and more. Please ensure that any guests who are staying overnight have a valid pass to park in your driveway or the street adjacent to your home. We typically conduct this between 2 and 6 am every day. Any guests without a valid pass will be cited. Any dogs and other pets should be restrained while on community property. If you allow your dog to be untethered on your driveway, in your garage, or on the front lawn, etc. please ensure that they are restrained. is is a safety precaution not only for other residents but for your pets as well. We have recently documented several incidents of loose dogs in the community, and residents will receive a citation for repeated violations. Please also keep in mind that repeat incidents of excessive barking can also result in a citation issued to the homeowner. I also want to provide this reminder to the community that Community Patrol Officers are not law enforcement. If you have an issue with another resident or vendor that is not a violation of a CC&R or is involving alcohol, threats (verbal or physical), or a potential to endanger themselves or another person is present, contact 9-1-1 FIRST. en contact Community Patrol. ose few minutes you spent contacting CPS would have given first responders a few more minutes to respond to your incident. In addition, 9-1-1 dispatchers and police officers need to speak with the person directly involved in the incident or someone who witnessed the incident. Lastly, we've observed an uptick in reports of dwellingLIVE issues regarding delayed notifications of your guests, vendors, etc. If you are repeatedly experiencing this issue, contact the front gate and we can follow up with dwellingLIVE directly. Currently, they have no solution as they are still investigating the possible cause of the issue but the more incidents we can bring to their attention, might assist in the discovery of the root cause sooner. ~ Josh Robinson, Director of Community Patrol Services, Joshua.Robinson@securitasinc.com, (760) 758- 7111 ext. 250 or (760) 505-2146 Community Patrol Services
