Honoring Our Veterans
Last November 11th, we had a wonderful celebration of Veteran's Day. It was very well attended by many residents, many of whom
are veterans themselves. We had a wonderful speaker and aerwards, refreshments were served in the Palm Court. Jeanne Brantman,
who is the Vice President of the Garden Club, and is also a member of the Landscape Committee, created a lovely wreath which was later
displayed in the main entrance hall for all to see.
On a related note, the HOA recently installed medallions paying homage to all the branches of the military on each of the park
benches at Inspiration Hill. Imagine our disappointment when we found that the medallion honoring the U.S. Space Program had been
dismantled and taken. Another medallion has been ordered which will hopefully stay where it belongs.
