| OHCC LIVING | JANUARY 2024 | 35 Happy New Year to all our Papercraers, and to the folks who enjoy the papercra creations both received and on display. Fun times ahead this month as our Membership team prepares for Do Dues Day. at's coming up on Jan. 13 in Abravanel Hall between 10 am and 2 pm. Calling all "want-to-be" Papercraers. Enjoy a year of learning how to stamp and die and make all kinds of cards and papercras. You know you've been waiting to give it a try. Some of our craers are taking a long-awaited break this month and will resume weekly papercraing in February. at's also when the new group of cardmakers that signs up in January at Do Dues Day, will be forming our Group 5 Newbies group under the tutelage of Rhonda Anchales and Irma Ojeda. We'll be introducing them to our club members and the folks who read this magazine in our next issue. We hope you had a wonderful holiday season and are ready to begin a brand-new year. What are your new year's resolutions? Mine are to make more cards and get to more classes. Do you ever find yourself overbooked? Well, that was me in '23. is year, I'm hoping to have more cray fun with my friends in Papercraing. Our club members are amazing and creative people and full of positivity and generosity. I need more time with them. Please share if you have any resolutions for 2024, so we can help each other out. Wishing last year's group 5 members all the best as they leave the Newbies nest and strike out on their own, joining the existing members of Groups 1, 2, 3, and 4. We'll be on the lookout for your creations that you share. Now, make a plan, get your cardmaking juju going and sign up to CASE, Present and Share all your wonderful new knowledge. Here's to a great new year together; as a club, as friends, and as members of OHCC. And for those members celebrating birthdays this month, please accept our heartfelt congratulations for getting one year closer to "aged to perfection": Margaret Burgess and Kathy Moskovitz. Now, put your holiday stamps and dies away and let's get crackin' on some ank You, Birthday and Valentine cards.
