The first event will be Thurs., Jan. 11 and music for the evening will be provided by Generations. Sign-ups for the January event will be Jan. 4 at the South Clubhouse beginning at 3:30 pm. Meal selection will be made at the time you sign up. The dinner price for members is $30 and $32 for guests. Memberships for 2024 are due now and are $25 per person per calendar year and must be paid before the first event in January. A try-before-you-buy opportunity is available for Sun Lakes residents who have not been members of the club in the past. If you miss the Jan. 4 date to sign up and want to attend the dinner and dance, contact Donna Leone at (951) 797-0832 no later than the following Sunday afternoon. If you are unable to attend the event after signing up, you can request a take-out meal box. Contact Ann Hoefert no later than 2 pm on the day of the event at (909) 553-3292 and she will make arrangements for you to pick up your meal in the Bus Room at 6:15 pm on the night of the event. ICC Dinner Dance Club Friendship Club presents Creedence Clearwater Remixed on Sun., Jan. 14, and all Sun Lakers are welcome to come as guests during this membership-drive month! From the heart of New York City comes a group of friends from all areas of musical theater. With several years of corporate, cruise ship, regional, and Broadway level theater between them, you'll marvel at the talent these four bring to Creedence Clearwater Remixed! Follow the unbelievable story of the greatest American rock band of all time… Creedence Clearwater Revival! Featuring hits like Proud Mary, Fortunate Son, Bad Moon Rising, Have You Ever Seen the Rain, and many more! So kick up your boots, sit back, relax, and enjoy the hits that took CCR to number 1. Sun Lakes residents are invited to join the Friendship Club and enjoy Vegas-style entertainment up close and personal. Membership Fee is $30 per person for the year. Tickets for each show are $25 for members, and $30 for guests. Doors open at 6 pm with open seating, and the show begins at 7 pm. The Friendship Club Country Western Dance Our first dance party of the 2023-24 season took place on Dec. 11 and was enjoyed by all attendees. Our club meets every Monday night in the South Clubhouse from 6:30 to 8 pm. During each lesson, we review the dances we learned in previous sessions and learn one or two new dances. Experienced line dancers and quick learners are welcome to join the club anytime during the year. Beginner classes will start again in September, 2024.
