e Pickleball Club held its Annual Christmas Dinner and fourth
quarter business meeting in December where we recognized Janet
Davis, who has been the club's secretary for the last four years. We
also recognized Greg Krebs who also served as the club's treasurer
for many years. Our club officers for 2024 were approved and are
as follows: Tom Ritchie, President; Richard Clarke, Vice President;
Scott Harrington, Treasurer; and Suzette Strauss, Secretary. e
club would like to recognize Mike Hurlock for his leadership this
past year. We would also like to thank Richard Clarke, Janet and
Keith Davis, and Tom Richie who served as our club officers for
2023.
During this past year, we received several new members and
are hoping that two of our favorite players Bob Porter and Keith
Davis, aer their knee replacements, will be able to return to
playing in the coming year.
For those of you who are unaware, pickleball is one of the fastest-
growing sports around the world. We encourage you to come out
and learn how to play. Our next beginner class will take place
on March 14 and 15, but we are open to teaching anyone how to
play before this date. Open play is mornings Mondays through
Saturdays at 9 am during the winter and spring. Evening play is at
4 pm on Sunday, Tuesday, ursday, and Saturday during winter
