We would like to welcome Kalina Cox from the Riverside Department of Social Services who will be giving a presentation on "scams." Learn how to spot them, and how to protect yourself and your family from would- be scammers and con artists. Community Chili Cook-Off Wed., Feb. 28, Ballroom, 4 pm, Free. Get in the competitive spirit and break out your favorite chili recipe to go toe-to-toe with SDV's finest cooks. Anyone wanting to enter the cook-off for a chance at prizes, and bragging rights should email Teri at Teri.collett@seabreezemgmt.com. Or come out and taste the finest chili that SDV's best cooks have to offer by registering for this free event. Support your friends and neighbors as they compete in what is sure to be some spicy competition! Volunteer Luncheon (Invitation Only) urs., March 7, 1 pm, free for invites (+1 for $12). Management would like to thank the volunteers who help make life in this community as wonderful as it is. Board, Committee, and qualifying Event Volunteers will all receive an email invitation for this event. Invitees who would like to bring a guest may purchase a ticket at the front desk for $12. Lunch will be a catered meal from Giovanni's including salad, garlic bread, a large meatball, and your choice of pasta. Valentine's Dinner Wed., Feb. 14, Ballroom, 5 pm, $32 pp. Enjoy a delicious catered, three-course, sit-down dinner from Chef Michael Alexson (NYE Caterer) with your Valentine, and prepare to dance the night away with the ever-popular DJ Chuck providing the soundtrack to your wondrous night.
