Happy February and Happy Valentine's Day!
Your Travel Club Board is excited about our planned trips and
programs for 2024.
Feb. 22 – First Trip of the Year – Norton Simon Museum (pictured
above): Please join us as we travel to the Norton Simon Museum in
Pasadena. Come see the Museum's magnificent art collections, which
include European and American paintings and sculpture. Enjoy our
private one-hour tour of the Collections. A box lunch at the Garden
Café is also included. The cost is $130 per person.
July 24 – Pageant of the Masters: We are traveling to a Travel
Club favorite destination – the fabulous Pageant of The Masters, in
Laguna Beach! Presented in an outdoor amphitheater, this nin90ety-
minute show presents "living pictures" recreating classical and
contemporary work of art, with real people posing to look exactly like
their counterparts in the original pieces. This year's theme is "A La
Mode: The Art of Fashion." The show will feature some of history's
grandest fashion trends from the splendors of royal courts to today's
catwalks. Prepare to be dazzled! The cost is $165 per person.
Our trip flyers are always available in the Trip Rack located near
the Clubhouse front desk. When our trips are sold out, we do have a
wait list. Frequently, people on a trip need to cancel. So, many people
on our wait lists actually do get the opportunity to go on our trips.
To be placed on the wait list or to register for any of our trips, leave
a check made out to the OH Travel Club, with proof of vaccination
attached (if not already submitted), in the Travel Club. You will
receive an email confirming your registration.
We certainly hope you will join us on one of our trips or at one of
our events/programs!
