Woodchucks
We at the OHCC Woodchucks are hoping your Holidaze were happy
and safe! By now we all have had a chance to see our resolutions
go out the window. One resolution we hope you made (and kept) is
to join the Woodchucks Woodworking Club. Our amazing and well-
appointed woodshop is available seven days a week for you and your
projects. Now is the time to get those honey-dos crossed off your list,
or maybe express the artistic side of your brain and create something
out of wood.
Our shop is kept in tip-top shape by our new shop foreman, Clair
Laire. If you would like some one-on-one instruction on a machine,
or an answer to your questions concerning almost anything related
to wood, just reach out to one of our club officers, Tom Murphy, Larry
See or Goldie Weiss.
The necessary membership forms can be picked up at the
Clubhouse. Simply return your completed form along with your dues
check to the Clubhouse desk. All new members are required to watch
an online video of the shop and you'll be given a guided tour. You
will quickly receive your name badge, which will gain your entry into
the woodshop and must be worn when in the shop. Hope to see you
