The Crown Divas were treated to a special event in December.
Tibbies' "Holiday Follies" at the Lewis Family Playhouse in Rancho
Cucamonga. We carpooled so the excitement started before we
reached the theater. We arrived and were met with a friendly
playhouse staff. We were escorted to our seats and entertained by
some of the most talented performers. The presenter welcomed
us and he was both charming and funny. He was also one of the
performers. The music and singing immediately put us in the
holiday spirit. Traditional Christmas songs were sung and the stage
costumes they wore took you back in time. Sometimes the songs
were sung by one person or two, then they all joined in. Let's talk
about the dancing. The tap dancers made their own rhythm and
were impeccably coordinated. They also performed a number in a
chorus line which you couldn't help but see how much fun they were
having as they performed it. The male dancers wearing tailcoats and
the females wearing long pretty gowns, danced foxtrot or quickstep
but made it fun to watch because the dancers made them comical.
The program had singing, dancing, humor, beautiful costumes, and
great musicians. After the program finished, the actors entered
the foyer and took pictures with us. They were all very friendly
and thanked us for coming. With smiles on our faces, we felt this
was a wonderful event to end our calendar for the year. We wish
everyone a wonderful New Year! ~ Irma Romero (Sugar Mama),

48 FOUR SEASONS BREEZE | FEBRUARY 2024
Crown Divas Four Seasons
It's the month of love … love the
wine you're with, that is. No matter
if you like white, red, or rose, there is
a wine out there that loves you. Just
don't indulge too much as the love can
turn on you.
For this month, we will tantalize you
with four selections that happen to be
the favorite of the president and vice
president. You may not realize it, but
we like the wines of Paso Robles and
we'll surprise you with some of our
favorites. ~ Gino Domico, gdomico@
