Here is your monthly update from the Event Steering Committee
for the Sun Lakes Charitable Trust. Here we will highlight upcoming
Charity Weekend events.
We know many of you are looking forward to attending the English
Garden Party Tea on March 9. Tickets have been sold out for months
to this special event but sometimes they become available at the
last minute. If you have a chance to grab them, do. You won't regret
enjoying champagne, tea, and assorted scrumptious delicacies.
Next up, April 12-14, is a full weekend of events that celebrate the
Masters Tournament in Augusta. This includes a gala Friday night
Green Jacket Affair, a Saturday Monster Scramble, and the popular
Sunday at Augusta. We are in negotiations for another tricked out
golf cart for a lucky Opportunity Drawing winner and we will again
have a life-sized giant big screen to watch the match while enjoying
food and drink and the camaraderie of your friends and neighbors
in the Ballroom.
The weekend of June 7-9 we will have many of our tried and true
events from past Charity Weeks and we will be introducing a brand
new event the weekend of Sept. 27-29, as well as our very popular
Fashion Show.
