Let's spread some sunshine! Resident name (first & last): _______________________________________________________________________ I am grateful for: _______________________________________________________________________________ ___________________________________________________________________________________________ ___________________________________________________________________________________________ ___________________________________________________________________________________________ ___________________________________________________________________________________________ I'm not a baseball fan but I'm so grateful for a version of a "Tinker to Evers to Chance" of which I was the recipient aer losing my car remote at Walmart on Dec. 13. Aer discovering that my key was not in my pocket, and several moments of panic, my first step was to get home to get the back-up remote. As my phone was home charging I intended to walk. Steps from my car was a man unloading his groceries. As there was nothing suspicious about his purchases, I introduced myself, explained my problem, and he graciously offered me a ride home. ank you Hal Pitt. You became my "Tinker." Back-up remote in hand, I had to retrieve my car. My friend and neighbor, Dan Geul drove me back to Walmart. You were my "Evers." As I'm not married to a 'tool guy,' Dan has stepped up oen. As always, thank you Dan. I tried unsuccessfully to call Walmart. I knew it could be foolish to drive over in my car in case a person found my remote and was just waiting for my return, clicking the button to see which vehicle's lights blinked. Early the next morning, my friend and neighbor, Joyce Baumach, an early riser and a woman of action, became my "Chance" and drove me back to check in with Walmart's Lost & Found. My remote had been turned in. ank you Joyce, as always. Bottom line: anks to my two neighbor/friends and my new friend and the honesty of a stranger, I was saved the cost of purchasing a new remote, getting codes changed, and a longer drawn out drama. Alan and I are so grateful to be here in Sun Lakes at this time in our lives. Living here has given us so much more that we could have hoped. We are truly blessed. Sandy I am grateful for "May." She is the first that I see and her smile is so pleasant. She is very special! She is always doing things and busy! ~ Alfred Boteilho I am grateful for friendly, effective staff at the Main Clubhouse front desk and Admin. ~ Rob omas
