Barbershop Chorus
We all have songs in our head that we just
can't forget because of the catchy lyrics. Some
of the most memorable songs from long ago
fall into the nursery rhyme category. Songs
like Twinkle Twinkle Little Star and Mary
Had A Little Lamb will stay in your head
much like It's A Small World Aer All which
is what has been called an earworm in recent
times.
These days you might hear songs like Can't
Touch is by MC Hammer or All My Exes Live In Texas by George
Strait that will stick in your mind and not go away.
Here's a list of some of these type of songs that we just can't get out
of our heads.
Sugar Sugar, The Archies
Dang Me, Roger Miller
Sweet Caroline, Neil Diamond
Red Solo Cup, Toby Keith
Hello Mudduh, Hello Fadduh, Alan Sherman
I'm Henry VIII, I Am, Herman's Hermits
O.P.P., Naughty By Nature
ese Boots Are Made For Walkin', Nancy Sinatra
Feliz Navidad, Jose Feliciano
at's Amore, Dean Martin
If you have a song in your head that you just can't shake off and it
is compelling you to sing it out loud, then we suggest that you join
Barb Miller, Rosie Ingalls & D.J. Blast for
our Goodtimes Karaoke gatherings. This
month we will be in the South Clubhouse
on Fri, Feb. 23 starting around 5:30 pm
or 6 pm depending on the availability
of the room. You are always welcome to
our events and we will continue to keep a
disinfected microphone reserved for you.
If you have any questions about our
karaoke dates and schedules, you can call
Barbara Miller at (951) 845-7265.
