Caregiver Support Group
Stroke Recovery Support Group
This group is designed to reach out to recovering stroke survivors. We meet to share our stories of
varying degrees of success, a sense of being understood, and of optimism for the future. Join us on
Sundays from 12 to 2 pm in the Main Clubhouse Multipurpose Room. Call Barbara Searcy for more

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY to each of you! I hope you will take time to enjoy a walk
together, listen to music, or just enjoy the flowers and sunshine. Life together is so precious.
Our next meeting and support group will be on Thurs., Feb. 15 at 10am in the Main
Clubhouse Multipurpose Room. There is no guest speaker this month. This will give
each of you more time to share if you choose to, and also to learn. This group is open to
ALL CAREGIVERS. Come to the meeting and drop off your loved one in the Arts & Crafts
Room. While you are at the meeting, our volunteers will entertain your loved one with games,
exercises and live entertainment. Thank you to The Kahula Lei Lani dancers who entertained
in January. This month Paul Alloway returns. Paul has not only entertained our group but has
brought his brother Lance and their friend Carrie, who also entertained. Your loved one does not
have to participate in anything he or she doesn't want to. We do whatever your loved one wants
to do.
