Arlene's Breakfast Club Cooking for Valentine's Day offers a unique opportunity to create a memorable and intimate dining experience for your loved one. Whether you're a culinary virtuoso or a kitchen explorer, crafting a special meal becomes a heartfelt testament to your affection. How about whipping up a classic and indulgent dessert for Valentine's Day such as a Chocolate Fondue? It's a fun way to share a sweet treat with your loved one. Here's a simple recipe (this dessert is not only delicious but also provides an opportunity for a fun and romantic shared experience): 1. Prep all the dippable items and arrange them on a serving platter. 2. In a small saucepan over a low heat, warm the heavy cream until it just begins to simmer — do not let it boil. 3. Place the finely chopped chocolate in a heat proof bowl. Pour the cream over the chocolate and let it sit for one minute to allow the chocolate to melt slightly. 4. Stir the mixture until the chocolate and cream are fully combined. If needed, place the bowl over a pot of simmering water (double boiler) to melt any remaining chocolate. 5. Once it's smooth, stir in the vanilla extract and the pinch of salt. Transfer it to a fondue pot. • 8 ounces of high-quality dark chocolate finely chopped • ½ cup of heavy cream • 1 tsp of pure vanilla extract • a pinch of salt • a variety of dippable items such as strawberries, bananas, marshmallows, pretzels, or cubes of pound cake Ingredients: Instructions: Chocolate Fondue
