| Four Seasons Hemet Herald | FEBRUARY 2024 | 27 Happy Valentine's Day! February is the month for love, romance and forgiveness. What better time to wrap up your favorite someone in a hand-made quilt of hearts and flowers? All the quilts pictured here are lovingly made by our club members. The two giant heart patterns, BoHo Heart by Jan Kingwell are submitted by Cleta Colston and Janet Graham, and were Seasons Quilters' first project as a group. The Multiple Hearts quilt is submitted by Diane Best. Seasons Quilters will begin their next group project this month using Jelly Rolls. Always attractively packaged, and in varying colors, many a quilter amasses a collection of 'Jelly Rolls' only to be left sitting in a corner of their sewing room. Waiting for just the right moment of creativity, these little gems often get overlooked. The good news? There are zero calories in these jelly rolls! Our Club meets every Thursday, (except the fourth Thursday) in the Arts & Crafts Room from 10 am to 4 pm breaking for lunch at the Bistro at 12:30 pm. February meetings will be the 1st, 8th 15th and 29th. Curiosity seekers are always welcome, and of course new members are actively encouraged! For more information about quilting, activities, fun projects and forming forever friendships through this wonderful hobby of quilting, stop by the Craft Room and see what's sewing! We would love to meet you. All residents are welcome to meetings and excursions.
