| Four Seasons Hemet Herald | FEBRUARY 2024 | 29 Bocce has a sign up date scheduled for Sun., Feb. 4 at 2 pm in The Lodge Ballroom. It is important that all teams show up so that the club can assign committee volunteers and also form a BBQ team for the banquet. Most players that play Bocce love the game and enjoy being out on our Bocce Courts and always look forward meeting neighbors and friends and a little friendly competition. The Bocce Club will structure our activity fee to be more reasonable and limit our celebration to only one BBQ to celebrate our winners. $10 will be collected from each player that will help pay for awards and the BBQ. This change will possibly encourage more players to turn out and play. We will need to ask for volunteers to help organize and cook for the celebration at our Feb. 4 meeting. If possible, I would like most team members to attend the sign-up meeting so that we can vote on a starting schedule. Again we will have to hope for good weather and not so much rain to get the season started. Please pass this information on to your players and I look forward getting Bocce started for the 2024 year. Hope to see all players on Feb. 4. Thanks players. ~ Ross Brunetto, Bocce Chairperson (951) 926- 8295. Bocce Do you have an interest in learning how to play pickleball? We would like you to learn foundational skills and join the fun. We encourage all beginners to come down to the courts to learn about the game on Saturday mornings. Summer play begins at 7 am.
