30 | Four Seasons Hemet Herald | FEBRUARY 2024 | Tai Chi You are invited to join a wonderful group of folks on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays in the Ballroom from 9:10 to 10 am for Tai Chi. There is no experience necessary and chairs available as needed. The Harvard Health Medical School reports, "This gentle exercise can help maintain strength, flexibility and balance, and could be the perfect activity for the rest of your life." There is no charge for the group, and you can come whenever you are available. We follow two videos and then do a set of movements to music. For more information, join us or call Steve or Peggy Cooper at (951) 599-0123. "Nothing you wear is more important than your smile." We just couldn't get enough of our lady friends in December. We gathered in the Four Seasons Theatre to watch Miracle on 34th Street then of course we had to eat, so after the movie we proceeded to the craft room for lunch and hot cocoa. You can't have a December get- together without presents, so we ended our social gathering with a fun gift exchange. What a wonderful way to end 2023… with dear friends. January's meeting took us to brainstorming for our yearly events. One thing we all have in common is, we ladies want to have fun. The monthly activities and events can be scheduled for any day of the month, that's one reason we try and plan our outings in advance for the year. To kick off 2024, in January a group of us gathered together and carpooled to the Play with Your Food Production, located right here in Hemet, to see the "bewitching" romantic comedy, Bells, Book and Candles. You may recall the classic film with Jimmy Stewart, Kim Novak and Jack Lemmon. What a wonderful way to start the new year… food and entertainment with special friends who live right here in our community. Michael Tennant is a great host organizing the production with a wonderful food menu selection. Our motto: Having fun, being positive, staying energized, giving back to the community. Come join us. We meet every fourth Monday in the Ballroom at 1:30 pm. Text Julie Rodriguez at (951) 821-1970 or email, maxsmom0225@yahoo.com for more information. New members are always welcome. We would love for you to come join us Mon., Feb. 26 at 1:30 pm in the Ballroom. Hope to see you there. FS Ladies Club Our league plays Wednesdays as usual in the morning and afternoon. New players are always welcome. Contact Beth at bflana603@gmail.com or (858) 334-9779. Cornhole We have a few people interested in playing horseshoes. There is a horseshoe league that plays on Wednesday mornings at 8 am at different locations around Hemet. We practice Saturdays at 8 am.
