Genealogy By Greg Griffes, 951-383-9988 Linda Woodward Gieger Yarnsters By Janice Blair Do you like to knit or crochet and have no outlet for your projects? (Who needs sweaters and hats in SoCal!) e Yarnsters meet every Wednesday morning from 10 am to noon in the Annex and are a great, friendly group of ladies. We make numerous items for charities in the local area, including lap blankets for Hospice of the Valleys, hats and blankets for Rancho Springs Hospital NICU, hats for chemo patients at Loma Linda and homeless vets, and all sorts of items for Oak Grove Residential School and Lake Elsinore Outreach. Last year we donated over 450 hats, 148 blankets, many baby outfits and miscellaneous items. You can work on your own project, or you can use the yarn we have in stock for donated items. We raise our money from donations and occasionally the Cra Fair. Come and meet us any Wednesday. If you love to cra and sew with a great group of ladies, we would be delighted to have you join us. We are a diverse group of craers. It doesn't matter what your cra is, whether scrapbooking/card making, quilting/sewing, knitting/crocheting, diamond painting, etc. If you would enjoy the companionship, laughs and giggles, come on down. e quilting group has merged with the craers, and we are one happy family. We meet in the Annex on the second and fourth Saturdays of the month at 10 am, and generally we have the room for the day. Being that we are there until mid to late aernoon, we either order out or bring our own lunches. Lunchtime is our true social hour. Sometimes we have what my grandson calls, "grownup juice," when the wine bottles occasionally appear, and the music is always on. If you feel like jumping up and shaking your groove thing, by all means do so. We are all about having fun and enjoying each other's company. I do ask that anyone planning on joining us, PLEASE let me know. I need to be certain that the room is set up properly to accommodate everyone's needs, and I also need to know if you will need power. I always send an email or google invite a few days prior to our cra day. It only takes a second to reply. is will help me help you. Happy craing!
